Can't see your question? Call +64 21 090 58051 and we'll give you a straight answer.

01

What services does Watthaus Strategy offer?

Two main streams: residential rooftop solar installations for homeowners, and utility-scale solar consulting for developers, landowners and investors. Our consulting covers land acquisition, engineering, procurement and full construction management across New Zealand.

02

How do I get started with a residential solar quote?

Use the solar planner, fill in the form above or call us directly. We'll arrange a brief call about your household usage and roof, then provide a detailed proposal, including system size, expected savings and ROI, within a few days, at no cost or obligation.

03

What solar products do you use for residential installations?

JA Solar Tier 1 panels (510W) and Sigenergy inverters for all residential installations, with SigenStor batteries for hybrid systems. All products carry manufacturer warranties of 10–25 years, and we provide an additional 10-year workmanship guarantee.

04

How do you source land for solar projects?

We draw on our network of landowners, real estate partners (including The WORX) and regional councils. Every site gets a full feasibility assessment covering grid proximity, topography, solar irradiance and consent pathways before we recommend it.

05

What legal and regulatory work is involved in utility-scale solar?

We manage the full regulatory pathway: resource consents, grid connection applications and building consents where required. We work closely with local councils, lines companies and Transpower to ensure every project is compliant from day one.
